Is there a minimum quantity of flags to be ordered?
No, there is no minimum quantity of flags to be ordered. For small quantities from one flag upwards, printing is done within short delivery periods using the digital chemical dye printing technology. For larger quantities, chemical screen dye printing is used.
What is the durability of a flag?
A general rule for the durability of flags does not exist. As flags used outdoors are always exposed to environmental influence, wear and tear cannot be avoided.

How to protect your flags

  • The flags must fly freely without touching trees, masts, wires or buildings.
  • Flags should be lowered at night and in the case of inclement weather.
In order to best represent your company at all times, always make sure to replace torn or worn flags. In addition, Tex Visions offers you a wide range of services.

Which fabric is best suited to outdoor use?
Especially for outdoor use, Tex Visions offers a selection of fabrics with little wear and tear. Our high-quality fabric Multiflag® is characterized by its particularly high breaking strength and resistance against weather influence. Equipped with a shining surface, it is an excellent vehicle for your advertising message. Especially for the use in areas with especially rough weather or extreme winds, we recommend the fabric Supraflag®, which is also characterized by particularly high strength. Our exclusive Tex Visions fabric Varioflag® can be used without hemming, which can extend the durability of flags.
What should be the proportions of the flag and flagpole?

  • Landscape format style flags
One third of the flagpole's height should equal the flying length.
  • Portrait format style flags
Half of the flagpole's height should equal the flag's height.
  • Banners
The bottom edge of the banner should end at least 10'(3 m) above ground level.
General rule: the higher the flag hangs, the more elegant its appearance.

In what order are flags presented?
The following rules should be followed:
  • Decoration with US flags
The most prominent position should be occupied by the US flag if other flags are flown besides it.
  • Decoration with international flags
The national flags are ordered from the right to the left alphabetically according to the names in the respective languages.
After them, the US flag, the state flag, the municipal flag and the association's flag are flown.

What does the correct flag decoration for mourning occasions look like?
Different rules for the flag decoration for mourning occasions exist, depending on the flags' finish
  • Landscape format style flags
These flags are hoisted to the top of the mast and then lowered to half mast slowly. The bottom edge of the flag should be at the centre of the flagpole.
  • Portrait format style flags
These flags are not flown at half mast. Instead, a mourning band is fixed to the top of the mast. The length of the mourning band should not exceed the width of the flag's cloth.
  • Banners
These flags are not flown half mast. Instead, a mourning band is fixed to the left and the right of the wooden rod. The length of the mourning band should not exceed 1/3 of the flag cloth's length.
