Frequently Asked Questions |
 |

offered exclusively from Tex Visions. Here are some
common issues and frequently asked questions
about the Bowflag®. We strive to provide
as much information as we can to assist in your
decision-making process. |

Single-reverse vs. Single-sided |
|
 |
| |
Single-reverse finishing is the standard flag finish
which shows your printed message through to
the other side of the fabric; whereas, single-sided
refers to the printed message being viewable on
the front of the material and completely blank
on the back. Single-reverse is usually associated
with printing on fabric while single-sided refers to
printing on other substrates. |

Double-sided finishing |
|
 |
| |
Use double-sided finishing to achieve exposure from all sides. Our double-sided technique includes two prints being sewn with an inner liner between the prints. Although double-sided flags can be used with various sizes of the Bowflag® 100, the strength and durability of the Bowflag® 200 Pole Sets makes it recommended for double-sided outdoor flags.

Full Advertising Coverage |
|
 |
| |
Unlike many other companies, Tex Visions does not use black "poly-stretch" header tape as a pole sleeve; instead, Tex Visions prints directly on the pole sleeve and secures the Bowflag® sleeve internally with header tape - only at the tip is where the extra strength is needed. This not only increases valuable advertising space but enhances the visual appeal of your Bowflag®. |

Shapes |
|
 |
| |
The concave, convex, straight, and angled
shapes are known as the "flying" shapes. These
shapes are enhanced by wind but do not require
it for visibility. The rectangular shape, unlike the
"flying" shapes, requires wind for full visibility
since it does not have a curved tip which allows
it to be presented with no wind. The drop
shape’s curve keeps it taut so it does not require
wind to be fully visible at all times. |

Wind Speeds |
|
 |
| |
Your Bowflag® should be taken down based on our approved wind speeds:
Bowflag® 100
Single-reverse flags: 25-30mph (6bft)
Double-sided: 13-17mph (4bft)
Bowflag® 200
Single-reverse flags: 55-63mph (10bft)
Double-sided: 39-46mph (8bft)
Tex Visions does not suggest flying your Bowflag® in extreme winds (any wind speed exceeding what is listed above) and/or thunderstorms. It may result in damage to the unit, injury, or death, and all warranties will be void.

Pole Sets |
|
 |
| |
We make our Bowflag® Pole Sets available in
a variety of sizes. We do this so you can choose
the best size option for your campaign. If you
purchase the most versatile size Pole Set for your
campaign, you can reduce cost by only reordering
the flag and continuing to use the same
Pole Set and order new prints. |
