About Our Custom Photo Stand Ins

Infuse fun into your next party or event with a photo stand in! These life size face cutout boards are perfect for family parties, school events, weddings, and more! Upload your custom design, photo, or artwork and we will print it to your exact specifications on your choice of corrugated cardboard or 4mm corrugated plastic. Each photo stand in comes with the face already cut out and is shipped with an easy-to-remove protective framing to prevent any damage during the shipping process. An easel is included with each order so it can stand freely on any flat surface. We digitally print our face cutout boards using UV-resistant inks for bright, full-color graphics that are safe to display indoors and outdoors without worrying about fading or color deterioration.

  • Areas between arms and legs may remain uncut for stability purposes

Photo Stand In Material Options

Our face in hole boards are offered with two material options: Corrugated cardboard and corrugated plastic. Both materials are of high quality, and each can be beneficial for different applications. Read below for more information about each material.

Corrugated Plastic

Our 4mm corrugated plastic photo stand ins can be displayed indoors or outdoors. They are waterproof and weather-resistant, making them the best option for outdoor applications. Corrugated plastic is a lot stronger than corrugated cardboard and is the best option for long term, repeated display. Corrugated plastic photo cutout boards are also easy to clean; they can be wiped down after each use to remove any blemishes or dirt.

Corrugated Cardboard

Our cardboard photo stand ins are made from 1/8” White B-Flute corrugated cardboard and are a great option for indoor only display. This material is less expensive compared to the corrugated plastic and has excellent color reproduction because of the white cardboard background. Although this material is suitable for long term display, it is not as tough or resilient as the corrugated plastic and is more easily damaged. Corrugated cardboard may be displayed outdoors for short periods of time but must not come in contact with water, as this may ruin the display.

Photo Requirements for Best Results

Follow the guide below to ensure your photo stand in is printed clearly with no pixilation or quality issues.

  • Images should be larger than 2MB
  • Pixel size must exceed 1800 x 1800
  • Dots per inch should be between 180 – 300
  • JPEG and TIFF files preferred – we also accept PDF, PNG, AI, & GIF
  • Zoomed in images decrease resolution and may cause a blurry finish
  • Must have good lighting – dim images may look dark or fuzzy when printed
  • Subject should fill as much of the image area as possible without zooming
  • Only submit photos you own – no trademarked or restricted images

What is your standard turnaround time?

We have a standard 3 day turnaround time. If you need your photo stand in board faster than our standard turnaround time, we offer rush production and shipping options at checkout.

How do I design my face cutout board?

To design your display, click the “Get Started” button above. Then, upload your artwork or photo, along with any notes or special instructions for our design team. Then, proceed to checkout and we will send you a digital proof via email for your approval.

How is the photo stand in printed?

These displays are digitally printed with UV-resistant inks. Our printing process results in vibrant, eye-catching colors that are fade-resistant and scratch-proof.  

How does this display stand up?

An easel is provided with each photo standin to keep the product standing upright on any flat surface. Setup is quick and easy and can be completed by one person in under a minute.

Can these be displayed indoors and outdoors?

If you would like to display your face in hole board outdoors, we recommend choosing the 4mm corrugated plastic material option. The corrugated plastic is waterproof and less likely to be damaged outdoors compared to the cardboard material option. Both materials are suitable for indoor display.

Can the photo stand in boards get wet?

Only the corrugated plastic material option is able to get wet, as it is waterproof. The corrugated cardboard material will incur damage if exposed to water.

How can I avoid any pixelation issues?

The quality of your photo stand-in heavily depends on the file provided for printing. Follow our photo requirements listed above for guaranteed results with no pixelation or resolution issues. Our design team will indicate any printing issues that may occur on your free design proof via email.
